Coconut Glenn is a new type of vegan ice cream that was conceived and developed by a single chef in the majestic natural environment of the jungles of Maui, Hawaii.

Former Michelin-star chef
Completed in two years

Glenn Simkins was a chef at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

With the desire to "spread magic around the world with ice cream and bring happiness to everyone," he quit his job as a chef in 2006 and moved to the jungles of Maui to begin development.

Their coconut ice cream is made with fresh coconuts harvested locally and carefully selected ingredients. Two years later, in 2008, they opened their first store on the island of Maui. It quickly became popular with locals and became the island's leading ice cream shop.

Made with organic coconut cream as the base, all ingredients are additive-free and non-dairy, and made using a secret recipe developed by Glen.
The ingredients are prepared, cut, crushed, and boiled, and the cooking process is different from that used to make regular ice cream, resulting in a rich, intense flavor.

Glenn's next stage is Japan!
Tokyo Omotesando store opens

Glenn's dream of "spreading magic around the world" is now taking him to Japan! He will open a second store in Omotesando in July 2019, and begin nationwide mail order sales in 2020. Maui-born ice cream, known as the "Island of Magic," will bring smiles to people all over Japan.
